Workshops & Programs — Strategic Planning, Human Skills & Capability Development
Facilitated support to help you move forward when things feel tangled or you are stuck reacting.
Sometimes you don’t need a full transformation. You need clear framing, the right conversations, and a shared way forward.
Strategy Day
Reset direction and leave with clarity
Most strategy days produce energy but not clarity. People leave feeling like something happened, but struggle to describe what was actually decided or what changes on Monday.
A Squiggle Collective Strategy Day is different. It's designed and facilitated by a strategist — not a generic facilitator — which means the conversations are sharper, the choices are real, and you leave with a clear and coherent narrative, roadmap for what’s ahead, and a high-quality strategy document to take you and your stakeholders forward.
Who it’s for: Leadership teams in the public sector who need to get aligned on direction, priorities, or on a specific challenge that's been sitting in the too-hard basket.
You might be heading into a new planning cycle, navigating a significant change, responding to new ministerial direction, or simply trying to get everyone on the same page.
Investment: $15,000 + GST.

Capability Day
Build a team that can think clearly when the pressure is on
Smart people don’t automatically have the skills to think and act strategically. Without developing skills for framing complex problems, working through ambiguity, and influencing others, teams often jump to solutions, stall in ambiguity, and struggle to hit the mark with senior stakeholders.
Our capability days are interactive workshops that teach a practical framework for repeatable human skills. Choose from:
Framing: structure and solve complex problems, and communicate with precision.
Ambiguity: operate effectively in highly ambiguous or uncertain environments
Influence: strengthen individual and collective influence when authority or control is limited.
Who it’s for: Teams operating in environments with complex problems, high uncertainty/low maturity, or low control and authority over directing outcomes.
Investment: Half-day: $7,750 + GST / Full day: $10,000 + GST

VIP Day – Nail Your Narrative
Clarify the story that needs telling
Leaders preparing for new roles, board conversations, strategic resets, or major announcements need a clear and consistent narrative to step into, for their own sake and for the sake of the teams they lead.
This intensive VIP Day cuts through the noise in your head. Together we test assumptions, refine strategic choices, and shape a clear storyline you can step into with confidence. You leave with a concise narrative, key message spine, and a practical outline to guide what comes next.
Who it’s for: Leaders stepping into a new role, preparing for a board, ministerial or leadership reset, or considering or considering a change to strategic direction in the near future.
Investment: $5,500 + GST

VIP Day – Fast Framing
Get to the heart of what’s really going on
When you’re under pressure to deliver it’s tempting to start solving before framing the problem you’re faced with. But if it’s a big, hairy or critical problem, time and credibility can get burned treating symptoms while the real issue is unsurfaced.
If you’re circling a complex challenge and unable to name it yet, this focused discovery process surfaces the heart of the matter so you can move forward confidently with the support your need from others.
Through a rapid, targeted document review and structured synthesis, we identify themes, tensions, and choices. You leave with a clear problem definition, visible options, and a practical pathway to test your framing with others.
Who it’s for: Leaders facing a complex organisational issue that hasn’t yet been clearly defined.
Investment: from $8,500 + GST (scaled to complexity)
